Rochefort 6 is a Belgian Trappist beer from the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Saint-Rémy. It has an amber to chestnut color and a fine-pored, creamy head. The scent is fruity and malty with aromas of raisins, plums and caramel. The taste is sweet, but also spicy with a pleasant bitter note in the finish. It has a medium body and a moderate level of carbonation. With an alcohol content of 7.5%. it is a strong, yet balanced beer that goes well with spicy dishes or desserts.
