Child protection

The protection of minors under Section 9 of the German Youth Protection Act (JuSchG) is, of course, extremely important to us as a provider of alcoholic beverages. But what does this paragraph say?

According to Section 9 (1) of the JuSchG , it is prohibited to sell or sell children in restaurants, shops or other public places

  • Beer, wine, wine-like beverages or sparkling wine or mixtures of beer, wine, wine-like beverages or sparkling wine with non-alcoholic beverages to children and young people under 16 years of age ,
  • other alcoholic beverages or foodstuffs containing other alcoholic beverages in more than a small amount to children and adolescents

to give them away or allow them to consume them.

Children and young people within the meaning of the youth protection law are all minors who have not yet reached the age of 18.

That’s why we believe:

All customers are required to provide their date of birth and accept our terms and conditions before placing an order. Thus, when ordering alcoholic beverages, customers confirm their legal age and affirm that they are over 18.

Furthermore, when ordering alcoholic beverages, customers confirm that their information regarding their age, name and address is correct.

The customer must ensure that only he or she or an adult authorized by him accepts the delivery of alcoholic beverages.
