Spring, summer, autumn, winter and…that’s right: the 5th season is called Carnival!

Carnival – also called Fastnacht or Fasching depending on the region – is so important to many that it is also referred to as the "fifth season." The season begins on November 11th and lasts until the beginning of Lent – ​​starting on Ash Wednesday – seven weeks before Easter.

Those who perceive Carnival as a way of life call themselves "fools" or "Jecken" in this sense. Not taking themselves too seriously, enjoying partying, and also being a little crazy—or better yet, "Jeck"—is part of the fun.

This attitude to life is also reflected in our delicious beers!

Whether it's the jecke Brugse Zot with its harlequin, the Cuvee des Trolls with its funny troll, or the Templar with its crusaders - there are no limits to creativity and variety!

But we've also prepared for the upcoming Lenten season with non-alcoholic beers. Those who want to fast from alcohol don't have to miss out on their evening beer, though. Some of our classics are also available in delicious 0.0% ABV versions!
