Val-Dieu Grand Cru is a Belgian beer from the Val-Dieu Abbey of the same name, founded in 1216. It is a strong and aromatic beer with an alcohol content of 10.5%.
The beer has a beautiful golden color and a fine-pored, white head of foam. Aromas of malt, fruit, spices and yeast can be perceived on the nose. The taste is full-bodied and complex, with a pleasant sweetness and a slight bitterness on the finish.
Val-Dieu Grand Cru is best served at a temperature between 8 and 12 degrees Celsius and goes well with spicy dishes, cheese or chocolate. A beer for connoisseurs, to be enjoyed in peace.
