Golden Carolus Triple

Gouden Carolus Triple is a Belgian beer from the brewery Het Anker in Mechelen. It is a classic tripel with an alcohol content of 9% vol. The beer is clear golden in color with a thick white foam head. Aromas of fruit such as peach, lemon and banana dominate the nose, accompanied by a slightly spicy note. The taste is sweet, fruity and malty with notes of honey and caramel, accompanied by a slight bitterness on the finish. The carbonic acid is sparkling and gives the beer a lively texture. Gouden Carolus Triple is a perfect example of a Belgian triple that is sweet, fruity and yet well balanced. It is ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to hearty dishes such as game or goulash.
