This Chimay is a so-called single beer, meaning it was brewed with just one amount of malt, compared to a Dubbel or Tripel, which is brewed with double or even triple the amount. This makes it lighter and even more suitable for warm days.
Similar to the other members of the Chimay family, the Dorée is mildly spicy and has delicate roasted aromas.
